New music festival Daze Between New Orleans and its charitable partner Rex Foundation have announced the details for their charitable auction, giving fans the chance to win exclusive signed memorabilia, concert tickets, artwork, and more.
The auction comes in conjunction with the first-ever running of Daze Between New Orleans, a two-day festival taking place on the sprawling grounds of Faubourg Brewery during the “daze between” New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival weekends on Tuesday, May 3rd and Wednesday, May 4th featuring The String Cheese Incident, Snarky Puppy, Lettuce, Nicholas Payton, Rebirth Brass Band, and more. Get tickets to the festival here.
Daze Between New Orleans is proud to partner with Rex Foundation, the Grateful Dead-founded organization that writes grants to small nonprofits doing great work in the arts, sciences, education, environment, indigenous culture, and social justice. In the spirit of the season, Rex Foundation will direct all charitable funds generated during the festival to New Orleans-based organizations. In addition to contributing a portion of ticket sales to Rex’s NOLA-focused efforts, Daze Between New Orleans and Rex Foundation’s virtual auction will give fans the chance to bid on rare merch VIP experiences, and more.
Items up for auction include a “Golden Ticket” to all 2022 L4LM Fest by Nite late-night shows; guitars signed by The String Cheese Incident and Lettuce; a signed festival poster; a Jam Cruise 19 Prize Pack; a signed 2017 SCI Atlanta poster; two VIP tickets to The Revivalists‘ RevHeads Ball on 5/5; two GA tickets to Sacred Rose and Suwannee Hulaween, and more.

The new festival is set to tap into the worlds of jazz, funk, jam, folk, and beyond and serve up a musical gumbo worthy of the Big Easy’s unique cultural character. In addition to music, fans will be able to enjoy a top-notch beer selection and fantastic traditional Louisiana cuisine.
Daze Between New Orleans will take place at Faubourg Brewery’s recently renovated complex in New Orleans East. Along with the complex’s state-of-the-art brewery facility and taproom, the event—presented by Live For Live Music, Purple Hat Productions, GMP Live, and Rose Tours—will take over the brewery’s spacious back lawn for headlining performances and more. Founded as Dixie Brewing in 1907 and later rechristened “Faubourg,” a French word for “neighborhood,” Faubourg is the oldest operating brewery in New Orleans. While the original location was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans owners Tom and Gayle Benson purchased a majority stake and revived the brewery at its new home in 2019.
It wouldn’t be a true New Orleans party without great food, and on-site “strEATery” Fete Au Fete will make sure fans are well fed with traditional Louisiana cuisine to go along with their Faubourg beer and malted cocktails throughout the event. Additional local food vendors will be announced soon. The festival will also host an Artist Village featuring a variety of local artisans and vendors as well as live painting exhibitions and a career-spanning gallery by renowned local painter Frenchy, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Rex Foundation.
