As Fest by Nite concert announcements continue, Daze Between New Orleans has revealed three 2025 late-night shows including a one-off combination of players from a pair of influential jam scene staples, Umphrey’s McGee and moe. The Tuesday, April 29th late-night at the Toulouse Theater, billed as Daze by Nite, will follow guest-assisted performances by both bands as part of Daze Between New Orleans at the Mahalia Jackson Theater earlier in the evening [ticketing details].

The history between the members of Umphrey’s McGee and moe. is nearly too long to document, with countless sit-ins and collaborations dotting their respective timelines over the course of multiple decades. Prior to Summer Camp Music Festival‘s (aka Solshine Reverie‘s) hiatus, the two acts served as the Midwest festival’s host bands for almost 25 years, often swapping sit-ins and combining forces in varying formats over the course of the event. Watch the two bands join forces during the 2023 edition of Summer Camp below.
