Dead & Company has announced the addition of a number of exciting bands to the lineup for the 2020 edition of their Playing In The Sand Mexican destination event. The sold-out event is set to take place from Thursday, January 16th through Sunday, January 19th at Moon Palace Cancún in Riviera Maya.
In addition to three nights of Dead & Company on Thursday (1/16), Saturday (1/18), and Sunday (1/19), Playing In The Sand will feature a funky Friday night artist lineup including Lettuce, Foundation of Funk (George Porter Jr. and Zigaboo Modeliste of The Meters with special guests Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, and Tony Hall of Dumpstaphunk), and Molly Tuttle. Along with the Friday night artist lineup, the event has also announced the addition of late-night performances by Circles Around The Sun and Goose (x2).

Ahead of Playing In The Sand 2020, Dead & Company will round out their 2019 touring schedule with a four-night New Year’s run in California comprised of two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles (12/27, 12/28) and two shows at the Chase Center in San Francisco (12/30, 12/31).
