When he’s not playing with Ween, guitarist Dean Ween (aka Mickey Melchiondo Jr.) keeps himself quite active with the Dean Ween Group. Today, the DWG has made a major announcement, revealing plans for a new album and a ten-date fall tour in support!
The new album is called the deaner album and is due out on October 21st via ATO Records. Back in June, Deaner told fans that the new album featured all of the musicians that he’s ever wanted to play with, saying “everyone in the entire world that i ever wanted on my album plays on it. like 30 people.” We’ll be sure to update once more information is available.

The tour schedule runs from October 18th through the 31st, culminating in a showing at The Wilma in Missoula, MT for Halloween night! This should make for quite the celebration of all things Deaner. Ticketing information can be found here, and you can see the full schedule below.
