Just a couple weeks ago, a new festival called the Deep Roots Mountain Revival announced their debut. The festival was not only exciting for its lineup, which features Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, The David Grisman Sextet and more, but for its location, at the storied Marvin’s Mountaintop. The site held the All Good Music Festival from 2003-2011, and the return of great music to the beloved grounds is a prime recipe for a great weekend.

Taking place from September 15-18, the festival has made a number of stellar additions. The DRMR fest will see sets from Jamey Johnson, Blackberry Smoke, Corey Smith, Love and Theft, Rising Appalachia, The Marcus King Band, Zach Nugent’s Dead Set featuring Melvin Seals (Melvin Seals & JGB), Russ Lawton (Trey Anastasio Band, Soule Monde), Tony Markellis (Trey Anastasio Band), Vinnie Amico (moe.), and Colin Lenox.

Tickets for this inaugural celebration go on sale tomorrow, and can be found here. The full lineup can be seen below, with the exception of a few blurred out names for the festival’s next wave of artists!
