The Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys will once again play host to a musical menagerie over Memorial Day Weekend 2023 for DelFest. The 15th edition of the Cumberland, MD gathering will feature fellow top acts St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Trampled By Turtles, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and more.
The initial DelFest lineup highlights the broad net cast by the McCourys, reeling in everyone from jamgrass festival favorites like The Infamous Stringdusters and Kitchen Dwellers to the soulful California Honeydrops to rising powerhouses Sierra Ferrell and Sierra Hull to the spiritual roots of Rising Appalachia and beyond. Also set to appear at the Allegany County Fairgrounds are The Tim O’Brien Band, Peter Rowan & The Free Mexican Air Force with Los Texmaniacs, Lindsay Lou, Cris Jacobs, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Troubadour Session (Cris Jacobs, Anna Moss, Lindsay Lou, and more), The Broomestix, Junior Sisk, Price Sisters, Handmade Moments, and Birches Bend. Joe Craven will return once again to emcee the festivities.

The 15th DelFest will host plenty of the hallmarks that have made the festival a family favorite, including unique collaborations, surprise sit-ins, tributes to bluegrass icon Del McCoury, and much more. The festival will again be preceded by the three-day DelFest Academy, hosted by The Travelin’ McCourys and other artists set to appear at DelFest.
Advance four-day passes to DelFest 2023 are on sale now on the festival website. All other passes including DELuxe VIP packages, RV passes, and parking will go on sale at a later date.
DelFest has made its home at the Allegany Country Fairgrounds, a location hand-picked by Del McCoury. Situated two-and-a-half hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the site is located near four airports while also preserving the small-town feel of Cumberland, MD. The quaint town offers multiple hotel options as well as access to biking, fishing, kayaking, a steam train engine and museum, and much more.
