The 16th DelFest will host plenty of the hallmarks that have made the festival a family favorite, including unique collaborations, surprise sit-ins, tributes to bluegrass icon Del McCoury, and much more. The festival is historically preceded by the three-day DelFest Academy, hosted by The Travelin’ McCourys and other artists set to appear at DelFest. Joe Craven will once again reprise his role as the festival emcee.

General admission tickets for DelFest 2024 will go on sale soon, per organizers. Stay tuned to the festival website and social media channels for up-to-date announcements.

DelFest has made its home at the Allegany Country Fairgrounds, a location hand-picked by Del McCoury. Situated two-and-a-half hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the site is located near four airports while also preserving the small-town feel of Cumberland, MD. The quaint town offers multiple hotel options as well as access to biking, fishing, kayaking, a steam train engine and museum, and much more. A full list of local attractions is available on the DelFest website.
