Denver “gastrobrothel” Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox has announced new owners, a new talent buyer, and an exciting slate of 2025 concerts. The former brothel and peep show-turned music venue in the shadow of the Colorado Rockies’ Coors Field will celebrate its tenth anniversary with shows by former STS9 bassist David Murphy, The Infamous Stringdusters’ Andy Falco and Travis Book, and more.

Ophelia’s will now operate under a joint partnership between Wilmington, NC and Brooklyn, NY-based promoters Does Entertainment and Denver’s ENDIT Presents, with NYC-born Knitting Factory Entertainment serving as the primary talent buyer. This trifecta of companies will combine ENDIT’s local expertise with the national reach of Does Entertainment and Knitting Factory, with the latter bringing nearly 40 years of production experience and live entertainment relationships.

“Ophelia’s has always been more than just a spot for shows—it’s been a cultural hub,” said Allie Martin from Knitting Factory. “With Does Entertainment and ENDIT as partners, we’re excited to take it in a fresh direction while staying true to what makes it really special.”

Tom Stinchfield of Does Entertainment added, “We’ve always admired the artistry and energy at Ophelia’s. This partnership is about preserving that magic while injecting new creative life into every aspect of the experience.”

To celebrate the new owners and a decade of Ophelia’s, the 465-capacity club at 1215 20th St. will play host to an impressive slate of local Denver favorites and nationally touring artists this fall. After kicking off this weekend with two nights of Shakedown Street (9/12–9/13), Ophelia’s will host Andy Falco and Travis Book’s tribute to Jerry Garcia (10/16), Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears (10/17), David Murphy’s new project For My Peeps celebrating STS9’s early albums (10/25), L.A. garage-surf rockers The Buttertones (11/4), staple MC Chali 2na with DJ Cut Chemist (12/13), and many more.

Despite its old-school charm and aesthetic, Ophelia’s makes use of state-of-the-art audiovisual technologies, including seven HD and 360-degree cameras for live-streaming and recording performances.

“Our shows through year-end will serve as a toast to the last ten years—and a glimpse into the bold new era ahead,” Stinchfield concluded.
