With last week’s reports that Phil Lesh had been diagnosed with bladder cancer, no one quite knew what the future held for the 75-year-old Grateful Dead bassist. While Lesh’s note remained optimistic, citing a good prognosis, the bassist was forced to cancel two upcoming performances with members of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood this weekend.

Fortunately, Lesh mustered up the strength for a set-long performance at Terrapin Crossroads, his self-owned venue in San Rafael, CA. As Deadheadland reports, “Phil Lesh looked healthy and whole heartedly happy to be playing once again to the Terrapin Nation.” Lesh performed with Ross James, Brian Rashap, Grahame Lesh, Scott Guberman and Alex Koford.
