The Disco Biscuits Announce 'You Got I, I Got You' Virtual Tour

The Disco Biscuits have announced the You Got I, I Got You virtual tour as COVID-19 self-quarantining continues. In a post to the band’s Facebook page, The Disco Biscuits detailed a months-long schedule of archival webcasts from over nearly 15 years of touring.

The tour kicks off this weekend, March 27th and 28th, with the band’s two-night New Year’s Eve run from 2001 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. Saturday, March 28th will feature the band’s three-set New Year’s Eve show as 2001 turned to 2002.

“We dug deep for tons of classic shows from 2001-2015 that you can’t find anywhere else and that we are proud of in every way,” the band said in a post. “2-3 per weekend, starting tomorrow & Saturday. Join us one at a time, or grab a full tour pass and jump on-board for all 23. The funds raised will be divided up among our currently out of work crew.

The band also attached a full schedule of webcast performances, which begin in 2001 and progressively get more and more recent all the way up to the final webcast on May 30th of the band’s April 24th, 2015 show at the State Theater in Portland, MN. In addition to career-spanning shows, the band also plans to broadcast special “bonus content”, like Tractorbeam sets, double feature nights, and much more.

“We’re also including as many surprises as we can – bonus content, tour merchandise, fun & wacky band member interaction every week, and whatever else we can think of,” the band said. “If we’re stuck inside til the end of May, we can guarantee you it’s gonna get interesting on these streams.”

The Disco Biscuits join a growing number of webcast series taking place as fans and musicians grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the live music industry.
