In honor of Thanksgiving, Butcher Brown‘s DJ Harrison has shared “Lil Birdie”, his version of the song “Little Birdie” by Vince Guaraldi from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Harrison’s funky take on the Peanuts classic conjures memories of holidays spent at home with loved ones. The cover was inspired by his family tradition of watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on TV every year in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Recorded at his beloved home studio, Jellowstone, it is the second cover he has dropped this year, following his rendition of “IGY” originally by Donald Fagen.
