Dogs In A Pile will return to New Orleans in 2026 for their third-annual trip to the Crescent City during Jazz Fest. The Asbury Park, NJ jam upstarts will make their debut at the French Quarter’s Toulouse Theatre on Tuesday, April 28th (11:00 p.m. doors) during the “days between” Jazz Fest weekends as part of Live For Live Music‘s annual Fest by Nite series [get tickets].
Dogs In A Pile—Jeremy Kaplan (keyboards, vocals), Brian Murray (guitar, vocals), Joey Babick (drums), Jimmy Law (guitar, vocals), and Sam Lucid (bass, vocals)—have already begun building an impressive Jazz Fest pedigree in only a few short years. In 2024, the band took the stage during Daze Between New Orleans at Faubourg Brewery. In 2025, Dogs In A Pile made the most of their sophomore trip to New Orleans during Jazz Fest: In the span of six nights, the band played three shows around the city, including its debut at the famed Tipitina’s during Trombone Shorty‘s Shortyfest featuring sit-ins from sacred steel guitarist Robert Randolph and saxophonist Jake Clemons, who took over the spot in Bruce Springsteen‘s E Street Band vacated by his late uncle, Clarence Clemons. Then, Dogs In A Pile staged a pair of shows at late-night hot-spot Chickie Wah Wah, where they performed tributes to New Orleans favorites (The Meters) and NOLA-inspired bands (The Band, Ween).

In 2026, Dogs In A Pile will return to the Big Easy with another year of growth under their belt, including the release of their third studio album, Distroid. The band is also coming off a prominent set at Suwannee Hulaween, a residency at the new Garcia’s Chicago, the launch of its own curated Burning Daylight Festival, and relentless nationwide touring. With still another four months to go until the show, Dogs In A Pile are poised to chart even more exponential growth by the time they step onstage at Toulouse Theatre.
One dollar from every ticket will go to Grace At The Green Light via Positive Legacy. Grace At The Green Light serves New Orleans’ unhoused population in a loving manner, embracing the human spirit by offering choices while providing for their basic needs (water, food, clothing, and community).
