Dogs In A Pile took over Brooklyn Bowl on Friday and Saturday nights and the community came out to rage, including special guests Karina Rykman and Mike Goodman of Eggy.

After kicking off the weekend jamming on originals and covering the Grateful Dead‘s “Mr. Charlie” during Friday’s first set, Jeremy Kaplan, Brian Murray, Joey Babick, Jimmy Law, and Sam Lucid welcomed NYC native Karina Rykman up to rock out with the band on her song “City Kids” in the second frame.

She returned the following night, which kicked off with jam band funnyman Cam Herdt, a.k.a. Mister Cam, introducing the band. Rykman sat in on a cover of Ween‘s “Voodoo Lady”, and during a chaotic moment in the jam, she literally handed the bass off to Eggy’s Mike Goodman, who played a funky slap solo and helped finish out the tune.

DIAP closed another electrifying performance with the weekend’s last special guest, Benny Pinnola, another New Yorker, who played saxophone on the “Let U Go” encore.
