Ever-rising New Jersey jam fivesome Dogs In A Pile will get back on the road in spring 2025 for one of their biggest tours yet. The 20-city tour will bring Dogs In A Pile and their fans—a.k.a. the Dog Pound—across the Eastern United States from March into May for some notable city and venue debuts.
Up first is Dogs In A Pile’s headlining debut at New York’s flagship Brooklyn Bowl on March 28th and 29th, the band’s first visit to Peter Shapiro‘s rock n’ bowl hotspot since October 2021 when they opened for Marble Eyes. From there, DIAP will set out for the Midwest with stops in Bethlehem, PA (4/3) and Buffalo (4/5), separated by the band’s largest indoor performance in Western Pennsylvania at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh (4/4). More stops throughout America’s Heartland will follow with shows in Detroit (4/8), Cleveland (4/9), Columbus, OH (4/11), Kalamazoo (4/12), Madison (4/13), and Indianapolis (4/15).
As spring begins to bloom, Dogs In A Pile will make their way south for stops in Chattanooga, TN (4/16) and Charlottesville, VA (4/18) where the band will graduate to the Jefferson Theatre following a packed show at The Southern Café and Music Hall with Kendall Street Company in October 2023. Continuing south, DIAP will play in Raleigh (4/19), Wilmington, NC (4/20), and Charleston, SC (4/22) ahead of a trio of Florida debuts in Fort Lauderdale (4/24), St. Petersburg (4/25), and Orlando (4/26) along with a return to Jacksonville (4/27).
Finally, the band will wrap its spring tour with a pair of shows at Chickie Wah Wah in New Orleans across the two weekends of Jazz Fest (4/29, 5/3), leaving the door open for side projects and other collaborations by Jeremy Kaplan (keyboards/vocals), Brian Murray (guitarist/vocals), Joey Babick (drums), Jimmy Law (guitarist/vocals), and Sam Lucid (bassist/vocals) during the Herculean musical Olympics that is Jazz Fest. After Jazz Fest, DIAP will head down to Mexico for some fun in the sun at Goose‘s inaugural Viva El Gonzo destination event in San Jose Del Cabo with The War On Drugs, Tycho, and Dawes. In addition to these headlining concerts, Dogs In A Pile will open for Greensky Bluegrass on March 8th in Chicago at the indoor stage of The Salt Shed. Dogs last played Chicago a few weeks ago where they fittingly debuted a new song “Chop Shop” at Chop Shop.
