You might know Donald Glover from Community, or you may know him better as rapper Childish Gambino. Glover is combining his two worlds of comedy and music into a half hour music themed comedy tentatively titled Atlanta on FX.
According to Deadline, Glover will write, produce and star in this upcoming comedy, which got its name from being “set against the backdrop of the Atlanta music scene.”
The premiere does not yet have a release date, but you can still get your fix of Glover in a few of next season’s episodes of Community (though he is no longer a regular), as well as in his most recent song, Centipede. Some speculate now that Community no longer stars both Chevy Chase and Donald Glover, it will be cancelled.
