‘Don’t Tell Me This Town Ain’t Got No Heart’ Benefit Concert Announced in Charleston

After the recent tragedy at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC, a troupe of local musicians are gathering together to raise funds for the church and begin the healing process for the community at large.

Dubbed “Don’t Tell Me This Town Ain’t Got No Heart,” from the Grateful Dead song “Shakedown Street”, the event will see performances from Josh Roberts, members of Dangermuffin, the Dead 27s, and more. The local spirit will certainly be captured by the extensive artist roster.

The event is scheduled for tomorrow, June 23rd, from 4- 9 PM ET at the Charleston Pour House. All proceeds will go to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund, including 100% of the bar tab, tickets, and anything else. Tickets and more information can be found here.
