Charleston, SC-native synthwave sextet Doom Flamingo has announced its first batch of 2024 tour dates.
The newly announced crop of shows will begin in January with stops at Boston, MA’s Paradise Rock Club and Roanoke, VA’s 5 Points Music Sanctuary. The band will mobilize once again in mid-March for a three-night, three-city Colorado run stopping in Frisco (3/14), Steamboat Springs (3/15), and Denver (3/16). From there, Doom Flamingo will return to the Southeast for shows in Atlanta, GA (3/21) and Nashville, TN (3/22) before wrapping up with a three-night hometown run at Charleston Pour House (3/28, 3/29, 3/30).
The announcement comes on the heels of the band’s recently completed run of tour dates supporting Andy Frasco & The U.N. Check out a selection of photos from that rowdy run here.
Doom Flamingo, born from the lively Charleston music scene, features vocalist Kanika Moore, keyboardist Ross Bogan, guitarist Thomas Kenney, saxophonist Mike Quinn, and drummer Sean Bing. Its lineup also includes bassist Ryan Stasik, who fans might know from his quarter-century tenure with Umphrey’s McGee, but he’ll be the first to tell you that this is no “side project.” With 25+ original songs spread over two EPs and a full-length album released earlier this year, Doom Flamingo is a “capital-B” Band on a mission.
