Dopapod will hit the road this fall for a jam-packed, monthlong tour around the South, Midwest, and East Coast. Fresh off the release of the band’s self-titled multimedia masterpiece, which includes a Dopapod board game, and a historic tour with George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic that also featured Pimps of Joytime, The Motet, The Soul Rebels, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and more, the quartet will headline 20 shows in 30 days beginning at Basement East in Nashville, TN on October 21st and concluding at Union Stage in Washington, DC on November 19th.
From Nashville, Dopapod will head to Indianapolis, IN for a show at The Vogue on October 22nd followed by stops in Grand Rapids, MI (10/23); Madison, WI (10/25); and Des Moines, IA (10/26). After Halloween, the band will wrap up its jaunt around the Midwest with a show at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA on November 2nd.
Guitarist/vocalist Rob Compa, keyboardist/vocalist Eli Winderman, bassist Chuck Jones and drummer Neal “Fro” Evans will then travel to Philadelphia’s Ardmore Music Hall on November 3rd and continue around the East Coast and South with stops in Boston, MA (11/4); Burlington, VT (11/5); Charlotte, NC (11/8); Asheville, NC (11/9); and Lexington, KY (11/10). Following two nights at Woodlands Tavern in Columbus, OH (11/11–11/12), they will head to Chicago, IL’s The Bottom Lounge on November 13th; Cleveland, OH’s Beachland Ballroom on November 15th; and Buffalo, NY’s Buffalo Iron Works on November 16th.
Finally, Dopapod’s fall tour will conclude with two shows at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY on November 17th and 18th and a tour-closing performance at Union Stage in Washington, DC.
