Dopapod was in Boston, MA earlier this month where the rock outfit welcomed their New England fans to the Paradise Rock Club for two nights of music with support from Jojo Mayer/NERVE on December 13th-14th.

The band’s Saturday performance on December 14th was also their last tour stop of 2019 until their upcoming run of shows in Asheville and Atlanta this weekend. Towards the tail end of the band’s opening set, Dopapod treated their fans in attendance to a bust-out of “Give It a Name” before moving the music into a debut cover of Joe Walsh‘s “Life’s Been Good”, which appeared on the Eagles guitarist’s 1978 solo album, But Seriously, Folks…

“So anyway here’s a special tune for ya to help y’all feel good about life,” guitarist Rob Compa said over the mic before counting the band into their eight-minute rendition of the classic rock song with its unusual opening rhythm riff. The band tears through the bluesy rock track throughout the video, which the fans in attendance welcomed with dancing arms.

The band regroups for a show at The Salvage Station in Asheville, NC tonight, December 27th. Fans will have more chances to catch Dopapod as their Emit Time Tour now continues well into 2020 with a run of scheduled winter dates.
