On Tuesday, Philadelphia-based psychedelic rock quintet Dr. Dog announced a 2020 winter tour, which will see the band on the road throughout February. Dr. Dog continues to tour in support of their recent Critical Equation LP, which arrived on April 27th, 2018 via We Buy Gold Records. Michael Nau will offer support at select dates on the tour.
Dr. Dog’s 2020 winter tour begins with a performance at Pittsburgh, PA’s Roxian Theatre on February 3rd and ends with a show at San Diego, CA’s The Observatory North Park on February 28th.
The tour will also see the band—comprised of guitarists Scott McMicken and Frank McElroy, bassist Toby Leaman, keyboardist Zach Miller, and drummer Eric Slick—make stops at Chicago, IL’s Thalia Hall (2/5 & 2/6); Nashville, TN’s Marathon Music Works (2/7); Fort Collins, CO’s Washington’s (2/10); Portland, OR’s Roseland Theater (2/16); San Francisco, CA’s The Independent (2/19, 2/20, 2/21, & 2/22); Los Angeles, CA’s The Novo (2/27); and more.
A fan pre-sale begins on Wednesday, October 16th at 12 p.m. (EST) using the code “CRITICALEQUATION”. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
