Andre Young–known primarily by his professional alias, Dr. Dre–is “Doing great” and “Getting excellent care” from doctors after the famous rap artist and producer was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA after suffering a brain aneurysm, TMZ first reported on Tuesday afternoon.

Young was reportedly “Rushed by ambulance” to the Los Angeles hospital on Monday, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. As of Tuesday night, Young was described as both “Stable and lucid”, but his team of doctors was still in the process of trying to determine what caused the bleeding in his brain.

After news of his condition began to spread like wildfire across social media on Tuesday evening, Dr. Dre shared a personal update via his social media pages in saying, “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
