P. Diddy and Drake were involved in a brawl outside of Miami nightclub LIV Sunday night, during a birthday party for DJ Khaled to close out Art Basel.
The reasoning behind the fight is unclear. Some sources say it began when Diddy claimed Drake had been using music without the proper rights, while others believe it involved nasty comments Drake had been saying to Diddy’s girlfriend Cassie.
The fight occurred around 4 AM outside of LIV, which is in the hotel Fontainbleu. According to witnesses including Rick Ross’s DJ Sam Sneaker, Drake was pretty badly injured and possibly hospitalized.
According to NY Daily News, “(Diddy) had his security walk over to Drake’s table and let them know that Diddy wanted to talk to him outside around 4 a.m.,” a club insider told The News on Monday. Both entertainers marched outside with their entourages in tow. Within 20 minutes, the fight was over and Diddy was back inside the nightclub chilling in a V.I.P. booth. Drake left the club after the two scuffled, sources said. “Diddy punched Drake three times,” a witness who was at the club at the time of the fight told The News.”
