Drive-By Truckers will hit the road this spring for a 2023 tour, the band announced on Tuesday. Among the nearly three dozen new tour dates are two-night runs in Washington, D.C., New York City, Asheville, NC, and more, in addition to the band’s annual HeAthen’s Homecoming residency in Athens, GA.
The tour will kick off on March 9th at The Vogue in Indianapolis, IN. As the Patterson Hood– and Mike Cooley-led project will be joined by Margo Cilker as it traverses the Midwest and South in March. When the band arrives at the famed 40 Watt in Athens, GA for the four-night HeAthen’s Homecoming on March 29th–April 1st, Model Citizen, Hayride, Camp Amped & Mercyland, and Wednesday will join in on the festivities.

After a few weeks on spring break, Drive-By Truckers will resume touring in St. Petersburg, FL on April 20th, where they will link up with Lydia Loveless as support for the remainder of the tour. The backstretch of DBT’s tour will include two-night stands beginning in Saxaphaw, NC (4/25–26), Washington, D.C. (4/29–30), NYC (5/4–5), and Asheville (5/12–13), where the tour will finally come to a close. On August 11th, Drive-By Truckers will join Tyler Childers as support for a sold-out show at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD as part of the Send In The Hounds Tour.
