Dropkick Murphys and Rancid rolled through Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom on Friday night as the two bands near the end of their Boston To Berkley II tour. This marks the second time Rancid and Dropkick Murphys have toured the country, moving from coast to coast from one band’s home state to the other.

Joined by special guests The Bronx, both of the co-headliners treated the Mission Ballroom crowd to their own specific brand of punk rock—Rancid with their classic, West Coast, early punk sound and Dropkick Murphys with ther Boston-based, Celtic punk.

Following the opening set from The Bronx, Rancid kicked off their set with “Roots Radicals”, from the band’s 1995 album, …And Out Come The Wolves. The 22-song set included cuts like “Radio”, “Hooligans”, “Salvation”, and “The Wars End” before ending with their most famous hits, “Time Bomb” and “Ruby Soho”.

The last set of the night saw Dropkick Murphys put on an equally enthralling performance, with upbeat Celtic punk anthems such as “Boys On The Docks” and “The Boys Are Back”, as well as the hometown salute, “I’m Shipping Up To Boston”. Below, watch a couple of fan-shot videos from the performances.
