After celebrating the legacy of his father Dickey Betts on Friday alongside fellow Allman Brothers kin Devon Allman, former ABB members Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Oteil Burbridge, and more, Duane Betts has announced fall tour dates with his band Palmetto Motel.
Kicking off August 28th in New Jersey at The Newton Theatre, the tour includes a visit to Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY (8/29), as well as festival appearances and headline shows across the Midwest and Southeast. After stopping in Charlestown, RI for Rhythm and Roots Festival (8/30), Betts and his band will travel through Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana before landing at the historic Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati, OH (10/2), where the Allman Brothers Band recorded Live at Ludlow Garage: 1970. The run will wrap up with a series of intimate shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia, concluding on October 9th at Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in Lexington, KY.
Tickets for most of Duane Betts’ new tour dates will go on sale Friday, March 7th at 10 a.m. local venue time.
Betts also has a number of other upcoming performances including spring tour dates with Palmetto Motel, a trip to the Big Easy during Jazz Fest for Daze Between New Orleans and A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute to Phil Lesh, and the Lucky Sevens Tour with Allman Betts Band.
