Del McCoury Band, The Wood Brothers, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and The War and Treaty top the lineup for the 2025 Earl Scruggs Music Festival. The fourth-annual celebration of the late banjo pioneer will return to the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC over Labor Day Weekend from August 29th–31st.
Also leading the 2025 Earl Scruggs Festival lineup is a special performance by Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring dobro phenom Jerry Douglas. They join fellow marquee artists Sam Bush, Sierra Hull, Town Mountain, Watchhouse, The Earls of Leicester, Sister Sadie, and a pair of Tony Trischka‘s EarlJams featuring guitarist Michael Daves. Other highlights of this year’s lineup include Henhouse Prowlers, Travis Book String Band, Shawn Camp & Verlon Thompson, Fireside Collective, Brownyn Keith-Hynes, Darin & Brooke Aldrige, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, a tribute to Guy Clark, and much more.
Tickets for the Earl Scruggs Music Festival 2025 are on sale here. A portion of the proceeds will support the festival’s beneficiaries, the Earl Scruggs Center and Isothermal Community College, and their missions of providing cultural programming throughout the Carolina Foothills region.
Presented in partnership between WNCW and the Earl Scruggs Center, the Earl Scruggs Music Festival highlights the lasting impact the seminal bluegrass musician has had on modern roots music. The festival showcases a mix of long-established artists and exciting up-and-comers, all within the bucolic Blue Ridge Mountains region that inspired the continuing traditions of mountain music.
