After some consideration and extra planning, the Equifunk Music Festival has decided to extend the festival an extra day, making it the first time in the festival’s history that it will be a full 3-days of music.  In the past, after Sunday breakfast, the festival ended and attendees went on their merry way.  After a push from fans to extend the funk, Team Equifunk has acquiesced to popular demand, and at no additional cost to attendees.  The prices stay the same, but we will be getting down and funky for a full day more, in what is one of the most intimate festival environments in the country.

Oh, and we almost forgot to mention, Equifunk just announced that they have booked Pork Tornado w/ John Fishman of Phish!!!!  Yeah, that’s pretty big news if you ask us.

“You asked, we listened. After five years of closing our gates after breakfast on Sunday, Equifunk is proud to announce the first ever Sunday Series! That’s right. On August 18 we’re bringing you a Full extra day and night of the Funk. The best part? your equifunk ticket just became a full 3-day pass no additional cost! please note The all-inclusive will still end after breakfast Sunday, but we will have plenty of food and drink options available for purchase on the cheap all day and night.

That’s a whole ‘nother day of funk, activities in the sun, and sleeping on the campgrounds.

Equifunk is set to take place August 16th-18th at Camp Equinunk in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, just minutes from the NY border.  There is still some cabin spots available, and camping spots as well.  Check here for more info on tickets.
