We’ve got a hot hot hot new debut for you from Pretty Lights Music artist Eliot Lipp, appropriately titled ‘Fire’. Catch Lipp opening up for the official Umphrey’s McGee After Parties with Digital Tape Machine and Turbo Suit (aka Cosby Sweater) this Friday and Saturday, respectively, at BB King’s.
From Lipp himself:
“It’s great to finally release this song. I’ve been hanging on to it for a few months now and it’s one of my favs to play live. We opened with this song every night on the PLM Keepin’ it Crew Tour.
The inspiration for this track came one day after being asked to perform MainStage at a summer block party in my hometown, Tacoma Washington. My goal was to create a party track with huge drums, a heavy synth riff and powerful vocals. My city has come up so much since I left. I’ve got so much love for my people out there and I’ve seen the grit that it takes to progress as much as they have. Ultimately this is about that feeling of passion and persistence. Fire can be dangerous yet we stay close to feel the heat and bask in the glow.”
