The Marcus King Band Family Reunion has announced the second wave of performers the two-day event’s third annual event at Black Mountain, NC’s Pisgah Brewing Company, set to take place on September 27th and 28th.
Following last month’s initial announcement of 2019 performers which included Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Josh Ritter, Amanda Shires, Futurebirds, Los Coast, and Charlie Overbey & The Broken Arrows, the event will now also feature sets from Yonder Mountain String Band, Doom Flamingo, Doyle Bramhall II, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Nigel Hall Band, The Shady Recruits, Mimi Naja (Fruition), and J.B.0.T.
“Each year Family Reunion grows more and more while still maintaining the festival’s original concept,” festival curator Marcus King said about the annual end-of-summer event to go with last month’s initial lineup announcement. “Family Reunion is about bringing together our families – the brothers and sisters we’ve come to know on the road, for a weekend of breaking bread, making music, and fellowship. We hope to see all of YOU at the annual Family Reunion this year.”
Two-day GA passes for this year’s MKB Family Reunion are now on sale here.
