The 12-track live album will showcase the veteran psychedelic rock band’s May 2016 performance at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre which featured the full-album performance of 1999’s The Soft Bulletin alongside the 68-piece Colorado Symphony Orchestra. The night’s performance also featured contributions from a 57-person choir conducted by Andre De Ridder.

The Flaming Lips will also mark two decades since The Soft Bulletin‘s release in May 1999 with a limited edition colored vinyl reissue of the album due out later this month exclusively via Vinyl Me, Please.

“‘The Soft Bulletin’ is a record that’s always with us… and we’re always considering it… we’re always playing it… we’re always celebrating it,” singer Wayne Coyne added in a statement.

The band also shared the live audio for “Race for the Prize” from the forthcoming album to go with the announcement on Friday. Listen to the recording from the band’s May 2016 Red Rocks performance below.
