Flaming Lips, Santigold Announced For Stephen Colbert’s StePhest Colbchella ’12

“Nation: Get ready to rock. In two weeks”, Stephen Colbert proudly pronounced last night on The Colbert Report. “It’s time to remount my long running, one year tradition of throwing my own summer concert”, he continued, signaling the announcement of StePhest Colbchella ’12: Rockaugustfest.

This year’s line-up consists of The Flaming Lips, Santigold, fun., and Grizzly Bear, while the event will be DJ’d by Grandmaster Flash (the Furious 5 declined to comment).  The event will take place August 10^th, aboard the USS Intrepid, which currently serves as a floating event space and museum.
