Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Radiohead’s frontman Thom Yorke reunited on French television yesterday, performing a two-man synthy version of the Yorke original “Atoms For Peace.” As the lyrics suggest, “No more talk about the old days / It’s time for something great.”

The two sat down on the French television show “Le Grand Journal” with author Naomi Klein to discuss climate change and politics. According to the author, she was a “nobody Canadian author” before Yorke announced to the public that he was reading her book No Logo several year ago. Yorke responds how she was indeed an important part of Radiohead as well, and how her book directly influenced the title for Kid A.

Yorke will perform a concert for Pathway to Paris on Dec 5 in conjunction with the conference on climate change.
