Fleet Foxes were the featured musical guest on Thursday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The band played “Can I Believe You” from their recently-released Shore surprise album which arrived back in September.

For their impressive pre-filmed performance, the band set up inside St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, NY where a Birkenstock-sporting Robin Pecknold and company were joined by the Resistance Revival Chorus. Studio footage of the band members playing their respective parts is also woven in throughout the video. Watch the full performance below.

Recorded before and during quarantine in Hudson (NY), Paris, Los Angeles, Long Island City, and New York City from September 2018 until September 2020, the 15 track Shore was initially inspired by Pecknold’s musical heroes. The album released on ANTI- Records marks the fourth full-length studio album from the popular indie-folk outfit, and first since 2017’s Crack-Up.
