Foo Fighters Cancel Tour In Wake Of Paris Attacks

The Foo Fighters have announced that they will cancel the rest of their international tour in the wake of the tragic terrorist attacks throughout Paris. The band issued the following statement at 10 AM EST:

“It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.”

The band was scheduled to tour through France, Italy and Spain on the last leg of their tour.

Meanwhile, during Dead and Company last night, Bob Weir took a moment out to send thoughts and prayers to those overseas caught in this terrible situation.
