Early next year, the New York City-based Freaks Action Network will host the 20th edition of its annual “Freaks Ball” concert/fundraising event. The loaded, one-night-only event will take place at The Bell House in Brooklyn on February 15th, and will treat attendees to a mix of bands playing on two stages with performances from Hawaiii (live debut), Showdown Kids, Garcia Peoples, and more.

The headlining act for Freaks Ball XX is that of a new collaborative outfit branded as Hawaiii, comprised of Joe Russo (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), Erik Deutsch (Leftover Salmon), and Jon Shaw (Shakey Graves, Bob Weir). The Showdown Kids–featuring Scott Metzger (JRAD), Katie Jacoby (the Who), and Simon Kafka–will also open the event’s main stage. Garcia Peoples act as the show’s late-night set, with The National Reserve and Karina Rykman/Adam November duo set to hold down the side stage between sets in addition to a DJ.

In years past, the event has also had a fundraising initiative to go along with the music. Freaks Ball XIX in 2019 was able to raise $3163 from ticket sales and silent auction which was donated to the Rodney Speed Scholarship Fund at the Berklee College of Music.

Tickets for the February 15th, 2020 event go on sale this Tuesday, December 10th, at 10 a.m. EST here.
