Last week, L4LM reported that Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio performed a full set with his TAB-cohorts, Soule Monde, at Iridium Jazz Club on May 1st. An audio recording of that show has just emerged, via bt.etree.org, and it is most definitely worth checking out.
Soule Monde consists of keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and drummer Russ Lawton, both of whom are members of the TAB solo band project. The concert was mainly jazz instrumentals, though a microphone was set up on stage for the encore performance of the TAB standard, “Cayman Review.”
