Fruit Bats will finally get a chance to tour behind their latest album, Pet Parade, with a newly announced Nortj American tour. The months-long run of shows is set to begin in March 2022.
The Eric D. Johnson-led indie-folk outfit will begin its tour on March 9th at SOhO Music Club in Santa Barbara, CA. After a healthy string of California dates—including a two-night stand in San Francisco—the band will move north through Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. From there, Fruit Bats will travel through the American South with shows in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia before moving up the East Coast. The tour will then head back through the Midwest before wrapping on April 29th at Thalia Hall in Chicago. Fruit Bats will perform two-night runs in both San Francisco and Austin, with no repeat songs between the two nights.
