Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival has announced the initial lineup for its 2020 event, scheduled to take place on August 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at Naeba Ski Resort, situated on the eastern slope of Mount Takenoko (筍山) in Yuzawa (湯沢町), Niigata Prefecture.
The initial lineup for Fuji Rock 2020 includes Tame Impala, The Strokes, Disclosure, FKA twigs, Major Lazer, Mura Masa, Cory Wong, Floating Points (Live), Jackson Browne, Rufus Wainwright, Tom Misch, Altin Gun, Black Pumas, Blackbear, Celeste, Clairo, Colin Benders, Derrick May, Donavon Frankenreiter, Emotional Oranges, Fantastic Negrito, Fontaines D.C., Frente Cumbiero, Future Islands, Georga, Gryffin, Lindstrøm, Men I Trust, Metronomy, Muscle Shoals Soul Revue ft. Willie Hightower, Charles Hodges, and Scott Sharrard, Neal Francis, Romy, Yumi Zouma, and more.
The long-running festival also noted in its announcement that “MANY more artists” are set to be added to the lineup as the festival draws closer.
