Last weekend, Umphrey’s McGee took the stage at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ for a Sunday rager that exceeded anyone’s expectations. With support from The Main Squeeze, UM welcomed singer Corey Frye to join them on a rocking cover of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” during the first set. The show featured a full thirteen tour debuts, as well as a debut cover of Misfits’ “Last Caress” in the encore.
With the band taking a few days off between legs of the tour, we’re itching for a fix of some Umphrey’s rock. Fortunately, a full audio recording from this rocking Sunday show has surfaced! Let the jams begin.
