G. Love & Special Sauce will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album in 2024 with an extensive tour and re-release of the album.

Released May 10th, 1994, G. Love & Special Sauce introduced the world to the group’s truly unique blend of blues, hip-hop, rock, and funk. Inspired by the broad range of influences G. Love, born Garrett Dutton, absorbed growing up in Philadelphia, the album began a journey that, over the past three decades, has seen the band release seven more albums (plus four G. Love solo albums) and collaborate with the highest echelon of songsmiths and performers including Lucinda Williams, Dave Matthews, The Avett Brothers, Keb’ Mo’, and many more.

In celebration of the album’s pearl 30th anniversary, G. Love & Special Sauce will head out on an expansive national tour stretching from January to March. Jakobs Castle, featuring Jakob Nowell, son of Sublime‘s Bradley Nowell, will serve as support on all dates with the exception of one show on February 13th.

The group also announced a re-release of the record, with more details to follow.
