On Sunday, the 50th-anniversary edition of Bluesfest Byron Bay continued in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia with performances from Jack Johnson, Gary Clark Jr., Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, The Marcus King Band, Mavis Staples, Fantastic Negrito, The War and Treaty, California Honeydrops, Allen Stone, and many more.
With so much talent on hand, the opportunity for exciting sit-ins was endless. The wealth of talent on the lineup bore collaborative fruit at the end of Gary Clark Jr.’s performance when he brought up a pair of fellow guitarists: Marcus King and Lukas Nelson.
