Ghost Light continues their “Full-Show Fridays” series with the audio release of their set from East Aurora, NY’s Borderland Music & Arts Festival on September 22nd.
For their performance at Borderland, the quintet—comprised of Tom Hamilton, Holly Bowling, Raina Mullen, Scotty Zwang, and Dan Africano—mainly focused on material off of their recently released debut studio album, Best Kept Secrets. Ghost Light kicked off their set with a massive “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear” sandwich, which contained an open-ended “Best Kept Secret” placed in the middle.
The five-piece continued on with another deep sandwich by playing American Babies‘ “Synth Driver” within an exploratory take on “Keep Your Hands To Yourself”. “Synth Driver” was left unfinished and contained a “Fever Dreams” tease. The band brought their explosive set to a close by properly closing out “Best Kept Secret”.
