Glastonbury Festival will return in 2025 with a generation-spanning lineup topped by Neil Young and The Chrome HeartsThe 1975Olivia RodrigoCharli xcxRod Stewart, and more. The British megafest, which maxes out at 210,000 attendees, will return to Worthy Farm in Somerset, England from June 25th–29th, before hitting pause for a “fallow year” in 2026.

Organizers released the initial day-by-day lineup for the long-running festival first launched in 1970, with Friday’s roster led by The 1975, London rapper Loyle Carner, Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, ’90s alt-rocker Alanis Morissette, hip-hop fixture Busta Rhymes, English electronic duo Malibou State, skyrocketing pop singer Gracie Abrams, producer Four Tet, and Isle of Wight indie darlings Wet Leg. Other highlights of the far-reaching Friday lineup include BADBADNOTGOODBurning SpearDenzel CurryEn Vogue, Fatboy SlimFay WebsterFloating PointsFranz FerdinandGlass BeamsOSEES, and more.

Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts will headline the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, following the legendary singer-songwriter’s public decision to drop off and then re-join the lineup earlier this year. The iconoclast Young initially rescinded his then-unannounced appearance at Glastonbury under the impression corporate media partner BBC owned the festival, but ultimately retracted his decision stating he had received “an error in information.”

Joining Young on the Saturday lineup are Brat Summer mastermind Charli xcx, British soul-pop singer Raye, 2025 Grammys breakout star Doechii, veteran sleaze-rockers Deftones, jazz quintet Ezra Collective, CCR bandleader John Fogerty, and Aussie punks Amyl and the Sniffers. Other Saturday acts include beabadoobeeBeth GibbonsBrandi CarlileFather John MistyJadeJapanese Breakfast, KneecapLucy DacusNick LoweScissor SistersTV on the RadioWeezerYussef Dayes, and more.

Finally, Gen Z pop-punk hitmaker Olivia Rodgrigo will close out Glastonbury on Sunday alongside Sir Rod Stewart in the “legends slot,” electronic band The Prodigy, Urban Outfitters folkie Noah Kahan, disco legends Nile Rodgers & Chic, British indie band Wolf Alice, R&B singer Jorja Smith, dance duo Overmono, and garage rock revivalists The LibertinesBlack Uhuru, Cymande, DJOGoat, ParcelsShaboozeySnow PatrolSt. VincentThe Brian Jonestown MassacreTurnstile, and many others will round out the festival’s final day.

During last year’s festival, organizers announced Glastonbury would take a year off in 2026. The festival traditionally takes a “fallow year” about once every five years to “give the land a rest.”
