Go Big For Hunger was founded in spring 2016 by life-long Mainer and musician Greg Martens. Inspired by Imagine There’s No Hunger, a global campaign created to realize John Lennon’s vision for a world without hunger, and following the lead of Yoko Ono, the Jerry Garcia Foundation, and Hard Rock Cafe, Martens implemented a local-level solution to fight childhood hunger in Maine. Go Big is an all-volunteer effort that channels 100% of funds to frontline feeding efforts through the Maine-based Full Plates Full Potential.
