Going Deep On CaveJam 2025 With New Cave Tours, Upgraded VIP Packages, & More [Photos]

Following a successful debut earlier this year, CaveJam will return over Memorial Day Weekend 2025 for another weekend of music at The Caverns. Before The String Cheese Incident headlines the festival on May 24th and 25th in Pelham, TN, organizers are highlighting everything the one-of-a-kind subterranean concert venue has to offer. It wouldn’t be a weekend at The Caverns without a tour of the famous cave that has made the venue one of the Southeast’s best-kept secrets. Going beyond the familiar concert venue, fans can sign up for a tour of the Big Room Cave to explore the natural phenomena, see unique cave formations, and learn about cave mythology and Grundy County history. For those looking to go even deeper, there’s the new CaveJam Adventure Tour. This goes beyond a leisurely walk through the cave as visitors suit up with helmets, kneepads, and flashlights (all provided) for a muddy cave exploration lasting 90–120 minutes. New in 2025, there will also be activities for kids, making CaveJam a destination for the whole family.

Those who want a more leisurely stay at CaveJam have plenty of options with the festival’s range of VIP packages for all budgets. All VIP packages—from BYO gear camping to the most luxurious private yurts—come with additional amenities including a reserved spot in a preferred area of the campground, shuttle transportation to and from your campground and the amphitheater, a private concert viewing area, catered brunch on Saturday and Sunday and grab-and-go breakfast on Monday, exclusive access to an air-conditioned restroom trailer and an exclusive VIP shower hour, free massages, free canned water at the campgrounds and at the show, a VIP poster, t-shirt, lanyard, and sticker, and loads more. Every VIP package also ensures access to The String Cheese Incident’s cave set on Sunday and BERTHA: Grateful Drag‘s late-night cave set on Saturday.

Those with all their own gear but looking to get to the festival early and snag a premier spot can get the basic VIP camping package, which still includes all the previously mentioned amenities. Above that is the pre-pitched tent package for two with cots, sleeping pads, camping chairs, a canopy, and everything needed for a comfortable campground stay. A step up from that is the Bell Tent package, which can support two to four guests, and includes a pre-set canvas tent with a queen bed or four cots, pillows, a blanket, bistro tables and chairs, a tent light, and more. Finally, those looking for the top-shelf CaveJam experience can book the VIP Yurt package. The premier package includes a 300-square-foot, climate-controlled yurt with a private bathroom, flushable toilet, and hot shower, plus a bed, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, private deck, and two parking spaces.

Whether in GA or VIP, all CaveJam 2025 attendees will get to see performances by The Infamous Stringdusters, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Armchair Boogie, Dizgo, Hayley Jane Band, The Headhunters, Jesse Roper, Pajamas, and Space Bacon. Host band The String Cheese Incident will perform four sets including three on the venue’s larger, above-ground amphitheater stage for all and one late-night set underground in the Caverns venue. Cheese’s cave set on Sunday, May 25th and BERTHA’s cave set on Saturday, May 24th will require separate tickets. All VIP packages include access to both late-night sets.
