Goose has announced its initial run of 2025 summer tour dates including the band’s debut headlining show at New York, NY’s famed Madison Square Garden (6/28). The Connecticut-native group also announced a two-night stand at Greenwood Village, CO’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre (6/6, 6/7).
Pre-sale sign-ups for all three of the newly announced summer 2025 Goose shows shows are now available here. Fans who sign up will receive a unique code allowing access to the official Goose pre-sale beginning Wednesday, January 15th at 10:00 a.m. local venue time. A portion of proceeds will benefit MusiCares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides essential support to music professionals in need. MusiCares is actively assisting those in the Los Angeles area and the greater music community who have been impacted by the ongoing wildfires.
In New York, Goose has been rapidly ascending to ever-bigger venues for several years. The June 28th performance will mark the first Goose headlining show at the World’s Most Famous Arena, though the band made its MSG debut in November 2024 as part of the star-studded SOULSHINE benefit for hurricane relief and recovery in North Carolina and Florida. The group made the most of its brief set that night, bringing out a string of notable guests for original tunes “Give It Time” (with Robert Randolph on pedal steel) and “Hungersite” (with Derek Trucks on guitar) and covers “Baby Don’t You Do It” (Marvin Gaye, in the style of The Band; with Susan Tedeschi on vocals and Derek Trucks on guitar) and “The Way It Is” (Bruce Hornsby, with Dave Matthews on guitar and vocals). Prior to Monday’s announcement, Goose hinted at its Madison Square Garden headlining debut in 2025 with a cryptic video depicting the five band members—Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach, Jeff Arevalo, Trevor Weekz, and Cotter Ellis—arriving at the Garden of Eden and brazenly sampling an apple. The two-show stint at Greenwood, CO’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre will mark Goose’s second trip to the 18,000-capacity amphitheater following a two-show run in June 2024. The announcement notes that additional summer 2025 Goose tour dates are due to be added to the itinerary.
The band will begin its 2025 touring operations in February with three-night stands at Milwaukee, WI’s Miller High Life Theatre (2/6–2/8) and Grand Rapids, MI’s 20 Monroe Live (2/13–2/15) along with a sold-out, two-night run at Toronto, ON’s History (2/10, 2/11) due to serve as the band’s first-ever shows in Canada.
In May, Goose will host its inaugural three-day destination festival, Viva El Gonzo, in San José del Cabo, Mexico. The event, presented by 100x Hospitality and set for May 8th–10th, will feature three consecutive nights of performances by Goose along with sets from The War on Drugs, Tycho, Dawes, LP GIOBBI, LA LOM, and more.
