On Wednesday, Connecticut-based indie-groove quartet Goose released a new single, “Butter Rum”. “Butter Rum” marks the band’s third studio single of 2019, all of which have been mastered by Grammy Award-winner Emily Lazar (Beck, Vampire Weekend).
In 2016, the band—comprised of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Trevor Weeks (bass), and Ben Atkind (drums)—released their debut full-length album, Moon Cabin.
“Butter Rum” follows up the band’s previously released 2019 singles, “All I Need” and “Time To Flee”. Recorded at Westminster, CO’s Colorado Sound Studios, Goose recruited percussionist Luigi Lombardi to lend a helping hand on the new track.
