Goose has announced Viva El Gonzo, a new festival set to take place in San José del Cabo, Mexico on May 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2025.

Presented by 100x Hospitality, the destination festival promises “an immersive discovery journey where attendees can choose their own adventure.” Attending fans are are invited to purchase an all-in-one including festival access as well as customizable lodging, wellness offerings, beach access, and more in Cabo’s tropical desert oasis.

Anchored by two nightly sets by the Connecticut-native quintet, the inaugural Viva El Gonzo will also feature performances by an eclectic mix acts from the worlds of indie-rock, jam, electronic music, bluegrass, and beyond including The War on Drugs, Tycho, Dawes, LA LOM, LP Giobbi, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Sierra Hull, Dogs In A Pile, Eggy, Mihali, Cordovas, and more.

Viva El Gonzo is the first event of its kind in Cabo, offering a multifaceted experience where music, art, and culture intertwine. The heart of the festival is El Ganzo Oasis, where Goose will perform amidst lush tropical growth, open fields, and elaborate installations. The venue, steps away from the Sea of Cortez, will host multiple stages, pop-up experiences, wellness events, and an eclectic marketplace of local vendors and cuisine, all designed to create an environment that reflects the festival’s “choose your own adventure” mission statement.

At night, the party will move to Crania, a beachside club that transforms into “a post-apocalyptic neon world of art and music.” Here, festival-goers will be able to explore more immersive installations and “dance to rhythmic music that channels the vibrant energy of the West Coast.”

Beyond the festival grounds, Viva El Gonzo will bring attendees into the heart of San José del Cabo, giving them the opportunity to explore its vibrant downtown streets, indulge in both world-class dining and casual street food, or embarking on excursions like snorkeling, horseback riding, and hiking.

Travel packages for Viva El Gonzo go on sale on Wednesday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m. ET via VivaElGonzo.com, with a pre-sale starting on Tuesday, October 8th at 1 p.m. ET for fans who sign up in advance. Over a dozen hotel choices will be available, from intimate boutique stays to luxurious all-inclusive resorts. Each property is located within a five-mile radius of the main event grounds and offers its own unique atmosphere and amenities, allowing guests to tailor their stay to their personal tastes. Curated travel packages offer a seamless booking experience, combining lodging, wellness offerings, and festival access in one transaction. Fans have the opportunity to further customize their adventure with additional activities, all inclusive options, and more. A limited number of “music only” tickets will be available for those who want to attend the festival and take care of their own lodging and transportation.

Goose is due to appear next at Mempho Music Festival in Memphis, TN on October 4th. From there, the band will take a few weeks off the road before resuming touring operations for an October 24th show at Nashville, TN’s Ascend Amphitheater. While the two ensuing Asheville, NC shows originally set for October 25th and 26th have been canceled as the Western North Carolina city attends to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and its subsequent flooding, the tour will resume on October 29th and 30th in Miami Beach, FL and continue through mid-November.
