Gov’t Mule has announced a schedule of summer tour dates that will take the blues rockers from August through September. Among the dates are six co-headlining shows with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue as well as a concert with support from special guest Margo Price. The shows with Trombone Shorty will feature full, equal-length sets from both acts.

The tour kicks off on August 25th in Salt Lake City, UT with a gig with Trombone Shorty before Mule travels solo to Aspen, CO (8/26). The Warren Haynes-led outfit links back up with Shorty for two nights in Dillon, CO (8/27, 8/28), before splitting again for shows in Shakopee, MN (8/30) and Selbyville, DE (9/3). Gov’t Mule and Trombone Shorty join forces again in Rochester, NY (9/4) before Mule plays headlining shows in Lewiston, NY (9/7) and Boston, MA (9/9), the latter featuring support from Price.

Gov’t Mule then joins up with the traveling Outlaw Festival for sets in Gilford, NH (9/10); Philadelphia, PA (9/11); and Saratoga, NY (9/12). After separating for a headlining slot in Bethlehem, PA (9/14); Mule links back with Trombone Shorty in Columbia, SC (9/16) before rejoining Outlaw Fest in Virginia Beach, VA (9/17); Raleigh, NC (9/18); and Charlotte, NC (9/19). After one last gig with Trombone Shorty in Wilmington, NC (9/23), the tour finally wraps with one more Outlaw Festival appearance in Columbia, MD (9/24).
