Gov’t Mule fans in the New York City area will get the chance to experience the rock band’s forthcoming concert film, Bring On The Music – Live At The Capitol Theatre, prior to its scheduled release later this summer on July 19th.
On Wednesday the band announced the film will get an exclusive first screening at The Landmark at 57 West in New York City on June 19th. The screening event will feature an abbreviated version of the concert film, followed by a conversation with guitarist Warren Haynes alongside the project’s director Danny Clinch. The conversation will be moderated by veteran music writer, Anthony DeCurtis.
Tickets to the screening will be open to the public, but seating is limited. Fans hoping to attend the event must enter the ticket request raffle for the chance to attend. Hopeful attendees will be notified via email by June 17th if they’ve been selected to attend the 7:30 p.m. event.
Footage from Bring On The Music was pulled from the band’s two performances at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on April 27th-28th of last year. The film’s arrival on June 28th will also be accompanied by a live album from the same performances to be released via Provogue/Mascot Label Group.
